The Master Coach Manual by Dan Doyle

The objective of the Master Coach Manual is to set the standard for coaching excellence and societal impact in the future. The book will present a "profile" of the Master Coach. This profile will address the specific criteria required of coaches at various levels to achieve "Master Coach" status.

In order to achieve such status, a coach must be a practitioner of noble qualities, all of which lead to the positive coaching of athletes, and the positive mentoring of current and former athletes. The book will propose that the Master Coach is a community treasure; one who makes an invaluable contribution to society.

The Master Coach Manual will encourage schools to designate as Master Coaches those rare few coaches who meet the rigid criteria.

Publication is expected in 2012, following the publication of Mr. Doyle's forthcoming novel, An African Rebound.
