Sports Ethics Fellows Program

Since 1991, the Institute for International Sport and the Positive Coaching Alliance at Stanford University have annually selected a diverse group of individuals from various academic and athletic fields to serve as Sports Ethics Fellows. These outstanding individuals write and conduct research on the contemporary issues of ethics and sportsmanship in today's society and assist with the expansion and promotion of National Sportsmanship Day. They have demonstrated admirable leadership in the areas of fair play and sportsmanship. Fellows include nationally known individuals, as well as others who have engaged in developing sportsmanship and honorable competition on a local scale.

We hope that the honor will provide these individuals with a larger platform from which to effect positive change.
