Letter to Parents

Dear Parents:

Thank you for your interest in the 2011 World Scholar-Athlete Games. Since I succeeded Senator Bill Bradley as chair of the Scholar-Athlete Games program in 1994, it has been my most gratifying volunteer experience. There is simply no other event in the world like the Institute's Scholar-Athlete Games!  And, with the inclusion of the World Youth Peace Summit as part of the experience, I am confident in saying that our 2011 program will rank with any youth event in history. In fact, one of our principle objectives is to make the 2011 World Scholar-Athlete Games/World Youth Peace Summit the finest youth sports/cultural event in the World in '11. Many people have told us that we have reached this objective in our recent Scholar-Athlete Games programs.

There are many reasons we hope your child will be part of the 2011 World Scholar-Athlete Games/World Youth Peace Summit. Not only are we confident that it will be a life changing experience, but by virtue of participation in the Summit, your child will be part of what many of us are confident will become a transformational peace initiative. We also hope that many parents, siblings, and family friends will arrive on July 1, 2011 and participate in the Summit.  More details on this opportunity will be addressed on our website in the coming months.

We stand ready to answer any questions that you may have about the 2011 World Scholar-Athlete Games/World Youth Peace Summit.  For now, the best means of communication is through email at wsag@internationalsport.org.

Thank you for your interest in the World Scholar-Athlete Games and World Youth Peace Summit. Please feel free to contact us if we can provide any further information.

Warm regards,
